J <br />Data from the National Climatic Data Center fox the~Hayden Station was used to evaluate <br />the precipitation trend. Foz thin year, 28.53 inches of precipitation ras measured, which <br />vas 11.69 inches (69k) greater than the 1961-1990 average. All months but December, <br />February, March, and June rare above average. Snorpack runoff, as estimated by totaling <br />November through April precipitation values, ras 11.66 inches, rhich ras 3.25 inches (39k) <br />above the 1961-1990 average. <br />Gxovnd Water <br />Water Levels. Table 3 provides a summary of ground rater Bites at the Yoast Mine. Water <br />level data are provided in Appendix e. water level reports for this yeas aze presented <br />immediately after the rater level hydrogxaph of all data since 1991. Water level <br />measurements aze collected with an electrical eater level indicator os a steel tape. <br />Pressure readings (in psi) obtained from floring rells with pressure gages aze multiplied <br />by 2.31 to obtain head in feet. The current ground eater monitoring program ie presented • <br />in Table 15-H of the Yoast Mine PAP. <br />Alluvium. One roll, YAAL14, monitors the Armand Draw alluvium. Four wells, YGAL15 to 18, <br />monitor the Graaay Creek alluvium. Nine rells; YSAL1 to 6, 8, 10 and 12; monitor the Saga <br />Creak alluvium. All rell water levels exhibit the typical seasonal fluctuation, <br />increasing rater levels in the spring follorad by decreasing water levels in the summer <br />and fall. <br />Lennox Overburden. Tro rolls, YLOV3 and 4, monitor the Lennox overburden in the Sage <br />Creek basin. Hoth calls are floring and fitted rith pressure gages. Pressure <br />measurements by SCC began in August 1994. <br />Lennox Coal. Tro wells, YLS and 6, monitor the Lennox coal seam in the Saga Creek basin. <br />Hoth relle era floring and era fitted with pressure ~gages. Pressure menauramants by SCC <br />began in August 1994. <br />Wedge Overburden. Nina rolls: YOV1, 9, 15, 19, 22, and 27 to 30; monitor the Wedge • <br />overburden. Walla YOV22, 27, and 28 exist in the Armand Dsar basin, all others exist in <br />2 <br />
