1
I
1
1
1
1
1

excavation area. Although the size of the water surface area will vary as
the groundwater Levei fluctuates, it is estimated that a normal pool area of
approximately 43 acres will be formed upon completion of the operation.
The site will continue to function as an open drainageway, however, and
this area will diminish over the years by deposition of sand into the
excavation area from upstream flows during periods of flooding. The
operation will not cause material injury to senior water rights since there
will be no impoundment of waters and the historic subsurface flows through
the alluvial aquifer will, continue as the local recharge and discharge
conditions dictate.
