Flow Measurin¢ Device <br />If not alrYaay a part of the permitted facility, within ninety (90) days after the effective date of the certification, a <br />• flow mP-~+*+ng device shall be installed to give reprrswtative values of effluent quantities at the respective discharge <br />points. A flow measuring device will be applicable at all designated discharge points of process water. The flow <br />may also be determined by usirtg the pump capacity multiplied by the lwgth of time the pump is operated, provided <br />that the accuracy roquitemcat (sae below) is met. <br />Whca the facility is not operating, and no discharge is acatrriag (e.g., if it is shut down for the winter), a flow <br />.nn9c,+ring device is not rpquued to be on ®te. <br />At the request of the Water Quality Control Division, or the Favironmcatal Protection Agwcy, the permittce shall <br />show proof of the accuracy of any flow-measuring device used is obtaining data submitted in the monitoring report. <br />The flow-..M=as..+ng device must indicate values within tm (10) percent of the actual flow being discharged. <br />EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS - STORMWATER DISCHARGE <br />!his section (I.C) applies to all facilities with a discharge of stotmwater.) <br />1. General Limitations <br />a. Stormwater discharges from the industrial activity shall not cause or threaten to cause pollution, contamination <br />or degradation of any State waters. <br />b. There shall be no discharge of sanitary waste waters from toilets or related facilities. <br />c. No chemicals are to be added W the discharge unless permission for the use of a specific chemical is granted <br />by the permit issuing authority. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional limitations artd monitoring <br />requiremwts may be imposed. <br />• d. Bulk storage structures for petroletrm products sad other chemicals shall have adequate protection so as w <br />prevcat any reasonable loss of the material from catering discharged waters or waters of the State. <br />
