No chemicals are to be added to the discharge unless permission for the use of a specific chemical is granted <br />by the permit issuing authority. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional limitations end monitoring <br />req.,~rr•,,,~,rs may be imposed. <br />d. Bulk storage structures for petroleum products sad other chemicals shall have adequate protection so as to <br />provent any reasonable loss of the material from mtering discharged waters or waters of the State. <br />2. Tndustrv-Saecifie Ntmterie Limitation <br />Beginning October 1, 1992 and lasting through September 30, 1997, the pecmittx is authorized to discharge from the <br />process water outfalls, under the iodttstrial ntegory below, as idmtifiad in their permit certification. <br />In accordance with the Water Quality Control Commission Regulations for fifflumt Limitations, Section 10.1.3, and <br />State Discharge Permit System Regulations, Sectiaa 6.9.2, 5 C.C.R. 1002 Z, the permitted discharge shall not <br />contain effluent parameter caa<cmtratiom which exceed the following limitations: <br />a. Mineral mining and processing point source category - 40 CPR 436 - subpart B (crushed stone), C <br />(coasWction sand sad gravel). D (industrial sand), R (phosphate rock) -and all other industrial facilities <br />covered under SIC Cade 14, exxpt graphite, and those specifically listed in paragraph b, below, and concrete <br />batch pleats located at any 5tcility otherwise covered by this general permit: <br />affluent Parameter <br />1~~GD <br />'oral Suspended Solids, mgn <br />ail and Grease, mgn <br />oral Dissolved Solids, mgn e/ <br />(Colo. Mineral mining and processing point source category - 40 CFR 436 - subpart B (crushed stone), C <br />(construction sand and gravel), D (industrial sand), R (phosphate rock) -and all other industrial facilities <br />covered under SIC Code 14, except graphite, and those specifically listed in paragraph b, below, and concrete <br />. batch plants located at any facility otherwise coverod by this general permit: <br />
