TERMINATION <br />a) Zt is mutually understood and agreed that in <br />the event that Ravenwood should discontinue <br />mining operations for a period of six (6) <br />consecutive months, CFI at its option may <br />thereupon cancel this lease upon giving thirty <br />(30) days' written notice thereof to Ravenwood <br />by Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested, <br />addressed to Lessee at the address shown <br />herein, unless said discontinuance of opera- <br />. 1~ <br />tions by Ravenwood be occasioned by strikes, <br />• accidents, damage to or destruction of plant, <br />inabi-lity of common carrier to make transpor- <br />tation, fire, flood, or acts of God or other <br />casualties not attributable to Ravenwood or by <br />reason of any law, order, rule, or regulation <br />issued by the United States Government or any <br />instrumentality thereof or any other duly <br />constituted governmental authority; provided, <br />however, that in the event there are circum- <br />stances beyond the control of Ravenwood as <br />enumerated above, including the occurrence of <br />faults or the lack of coal in paying quanti- <br />ties, which prevents it from mining coal, +y <br />~, then, at Ravenwood's option this lease may ` ~{ <br />be terminated .upon thirty (30) days' written <br />notice given to CFSI by Certified Nail, Return <br />Receipt Requested; in which event, Ravenwood <br />__ -__ sha31-pay-CF's-Z-only the amount of royalty for <br />coal produced as provided for in Paragarph 2 <br /> <br />
