At the conclusion of each mining stage a <br />reclamation phase will be commenced. See map Exhibits D-1 <br />' and F for complete details and progression of the mining <br />stages and reclamation phases, including estimated timetables <br />of execution. <br />MPM plans to attempt to complete grading, reshaping, <br />seeding, mulching and fertilizing within one year of the com- <br />pletion of each mining stage. <br />Planting, mulching and fertilizing will occur between <br />April 1 and May 15 in each revegetation year. During the <br />two remaining years of a reclamation phase, reclamation <br />progress will be monitored and remedial work will be per- <br />formed where necessary. <br />M Reclamation Standards. Grading will create a topography <br /> appropriate to the final land use. Backfilling into the <br /> lakes will create irregular shorelines with good stability <br /> (see map Exhibit F). As shown in Exhibit F, sloped areas <br /> will be regraded to 3 to 1 from five feet above the waterline <br /> to ten feet below the waterline. Other slopes will be <br /> regraded to 2 to 1 or less, as required.
