' EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN AND TI~iETABLE
' Reclamation Plan. The proposed future use of the
affected land is private recreation and wildlife habitat.
' MPM's reclamation plan will create an area with two lakes,
' roughly triangular in shape, divided by a strip of land
approximately 100 feet wide. The perimeter lands and the
dividing strip' between the lakes (Western Slope Gas Company's
pipeline right-of-way) will be reclaimed by sloping the banks
' at 3 to 1 or less from five feet above to ten feet below the
' waterline. The remaining slopes will be 2 to 1 or less. Bank
areas will be shaped irregularly and a few peninsular areas
will be created. Revegetation will include seeding with a
suitable grass mixture, mulching and fertilizing. The berm
' located on the north line of the eastern portion of the
property by Conrock, which was approximately 30 feet high,
'
has been reduced by MPM to a height of about 10 feet. This
' work was done in January 1978. In the spring of 1978 the
area will be seeded with a cover grass, probably crested
t wheatgrass, broadcast at a rate of 10 pounds PLS per acre.
(See map Exhibit F.)
1
The north lake will have a water surface area of approxi-
' mately 121.19 t acres affected land. The lake to the south
will have a water surface area of approximately 80.43 f acres
affected land. If the alternate mining plan for Stage Z
becomes necessary, the water surface areas will be reduced to
104
90 t
d 69
2
.
acres an
.5
t acres, respectively.
' The property will be mined in five stages, each three
II ' 16
