1

' Screening
' At this time, the only activities will be the removal of the raw dredge
material and the sorting as to size of some of the material by screening.
Crushing is not anticipated at this time. If crushing becomes necessary or
' desirable, all necessary air quality and local government (Conditional Use)
permits will be obtained.
' Schedule
' Mining will commence immediately upon the issuance of this permit.
Demand will dictate how fast mining progresses and mining will progress as
fast as necessary to satisfy demand for the product. The life of the mine is
~ estimated to be three years.
RILC is new in the business and does not know how much demand will
' exist. However, it is estimated (hoped) that the entire 9.9 acres will be mined
within 2 to 4 years. If the spoils within the permit boundary have been
exhausted within that time period, and the business continues to be lucrative,
' this permit will either be converted to a 112 permit, or another 110 permit will be
prepared and submitted on adjacent spoils.
Soil Salvage
' There is no salvageable soil inside the permit boundary. As explained in
the Exhibit D, Reclamation Plan, some soils will be imported from various off-
site projects and used to aid in revegetating the spoils. That growth medium
' may be hauled and used immediately for revegetating and area wherein mining
is completed, or it may be hauled and stockpiled at the site for future
reclamation. If that material is stockpiled at the site for future revegetation, it will
be stabilized with a vegetative cover and located separate from other stockpiles,
out of the way of mine traffic and out of stream channels or drainage ways.
'
Overburden
' No overburden or waste rock exist at the site.

7
