Place the remaining overburden <br /> 1 in the eastern portion of Areas 4 and 5• This completes the backfilling of <br /> ' these areas. Reseed Areas 9 and the east portions of Areas 4 and 5. <br /> Phase XI : Remove the overburden from Area 11 and place the overburden in <br /> ' Area 10 until the final reclamation grade is established. Stockpile the <br /> remaining overburden. Remove all the gravel from Area 10, de-watering as <br /> 1 necessary, and backfill the excavation with the surplus overburden. This <br /> ' leaves approximately half the overburden as surplus. Reseed Areas 10 and 11 . <br /> Phase XII : De-water and begin mining operation for Areas 7 and 8 and the <br /> ' western portions of Areas 4 and 5. When the gravel has been removed to <br /> bedrock, the edges of the excavation will be properly shaped and graded. <br /> ' De-watering will cease and the pond will form. <br /> Phase XIII : Remove the overburden from a portion of Area 12 and stockpile <br /> the material in an adjacent portion of that same area. Remove all the <br /> ' gravel , de-watering that area as required, and the stockpiles overburden <br /> will be placed in the excavation. The remaining portion of Area 12 is <br /> ' stripped and the overburden placed in the previously mined portion of Area 12. <br /> ' The gravel is removed and the excavation backfilled with the surplus over- <br /> burden from Area 11 (Phase XI ) . <br /> -17- <br /> f <br />
