Remove all gravel . <br /> Place the surplus overburden from Area I into Area 2. <br /> 1 Phase III : As Area 3 is stripped, all of the overburden is placed in Area <br /> ' 2. Remove all the gravel from Area 3, de-watering that area as necessary. <br /> Phase IV: The overburden from Area 4 is removed and the overburden is <br /> ' placed in Area 2 until the final reclamation grade is established. The <br /> remainder of the overburden is placed in Area 3• At this time, only the <br /> ' gravel above the normal water table is mined from Area 4. Reseed Area 2. <br /> ' Phase V: The overburden from Area 5 is stripped and placed entirely in <br /> Area 3. Only the gravel above the normal water table will be mined at this <br /> ' time. <br /> Phase VI : Remove the overburden from Area 6 and place nearly all of it in <br /> 1 Area 3. This completes backfilling of Area 3. All of the gravel is removed <br /> 1 from Area `3, de-watering as required. Any surplus overburden is placed back <br /> into Area 6. Reseed Area 3. <br /> ' Phase VI1 : Remove the overburden from Area 7 and place it in Area 6. Remove <br /> only the gravel above the water table at this point from Area 7. <br /> 1 Phase VIII : Begin De-watering operations in the eastern portion of Areas 4 <br /> ' and 5 (east of dashed line, Drawing No. 3) and remove the gravel to bedrock. <br /> As the mining proceeds, strip the overburden from Area 8 and distribute the <br /> ' material as follows: 1 ) place overburden in Area 6 to complete the back- <br /> fill of that area to final grade; 2) place the remainder of the overburden <br /> 1 in the eastern portions of Areas 4 and 5. It should be noted that back- <br /> filling in Areas 4 and 5 will be completed so that the placement of all <br /> overburden conforms to the shape of the east perimeter of the pond. When <br /> ' the mining of Areas 4 and 5 (east portion) is complete, mine all the gravel <br /> -16- <br />
