Notwithstanding [he provisions of PART II, paragraph A-1, the permittee <br />shall submit a written request to the Colorado Water Quality Control <br />~~~ `~.' ~~~~•- '-" Division and the U.S. Environmental~Protec;ion'Aozncy for designation of <br />discharg= pein;s. The designation of present discharge points shall be <br />submitted ;o the Permits Section, Water Quality Control Division in not <br />Wore than °0 days following the effective date of this permit. Ne•.~ <br />discharge point designations shall be submitted in not less than °0 days <br />prior to :he proposed time of discharge. The request shall be accompznizd <br />by area maps which shall meet the specifications set forth below. Ezci <br />discharge point shall be numbered consecutively (001, 002, 003. etc.) and <br />- designated on the map. The Division shall approve or deny proposed <br />discharge points in writing, or may in its descretion require [hat the <br />permittee accept different effluent limitations as a condition of aDOroval <br />or submit a new permit application. Approval of additional discharee points <br />shall not consist of permit modification, and no public notice or hearing <br />will be required, unless significant changes are r<_quired. <br />2. Area maps shall be made from USGS topographical mzps (7.j or 1j-minutes <br />series) or other appropriate sources as approved by the Colorado Waver <br />. ... The permi;tee shall submit a written request to the Colorado Water Quality <br />Control Division and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to deactivate <br />a discha roe =Dint. The Division will grant or deny the request in wri[ine. <br />The Oivisien's decision will 6e based on wnether grading of the distur!+zd <br />area has Seen completed to return [he earth [o tha desired contour and <br />reclamation work has begun.
