Banks and Gesso, LLC <br />Nature of Material to be Mined <br />Mineral evaluation of the site revealed approximately 6-8 inches of silty topsoil, 4 to 10 <br />feet of overburden, and sand and gravel reserves of approximately 10 to 18 feet in <br />thickness. The nature of the material varies in relative density and degree of gradation, <br />with moderate amounts of silt. The maximum size of gravel is typically less than 3- <br />inches in diameter. The material is suitable for use as construction sand and aggregate <br />material. <br />Processing Operations <br />The scale house, aggregate processing plant, stockpiles, and settling ponds will be <br />located south of the East Mine. The area will be graded to provide flat areas for these <br />activities, and the area will be reseeded and reclaimed after mining activities cease. <br />Portable asphalt and concrete batch plants, and asphalt and concrete recycling facilities <br />will be located within the limits of the East Mine, and relocated as necessary within the <br />East Mine area. <br />Raindance Sand and Gravel Mine March 18, 2004 <br />Hilltop Aquatic Investments, LLC ~ i 04001 <br />
