7.3 SUPPORT FACILITIES (4.04 <br />• 'Ifite support facilities used at the Trinidad Basin Mine include the <br />following: office, slwp, opal storage azea, explosive storage trailers, <br />and underground fuel storage. All of the above facilities are pre-existing <br />structures and no new structures are contemplated at this time. The <br />follaaing support facilities are used at the town loadout: truck ramp, <br />screening plant, crushing plant, office and railroad tracks. <br />4i~e support facilities will not seriously impact fish or wildlife <br />or any related environmental factors due to the fact that they only <br />contribute a very small percentage to the disturbed area; and in regards <br />to effluents, all runoff from the site is treated before being discharged <br />off of the permit area. <br />TBM will follow the conditions in the air quality permit they are <br />• succeeduig to in order to assure that air pollution is m;n;m;zed. 'IBM's <br />cartron practice of watering the roads and using a spray bar on the crusher <br />will aid in the m;n;m;zation of air pollution. <br />The m;n;ng is carried out in such a fashion as to prevent damage <br />to public or private property. 'This is done by clearly identifying the <br />mine site and the identification signs alert the public sector try the type <br />of activities occurring at the site. <br /> <br />VII-4 <br />
