Even with the proposed <br />Lurnout lanes, the proDieme associated with she trucks palling on and turning <br />into the property will De truly one of the moat dangerous plnees in xeatern <br />Colorado and will add to the already unsafe highray. <br />Other issues of concern rill be tho air pollatioa, noise pollution, and the <br />destruction of wetlands, wildlife habitat, and water concerns, including cells <br />and ditches. Thera are many cello and springs in the surrounding areas which <br />will have very likely chances of being destroyed. People that live in thin area <br />haw eelacted thin area because it is rail known ae one of ehs nicest arena is <br />Montrose County. Kith the addition of the gravel mining operation, this area <br />will be negatively impacted. Land values will be negatively affected by the <br />operation. Thin is very unfair to all of the surrounding neighbors of the <br />proposed site. <br />xe recognias the need for gravel operations in Montro^e county, and <br />understand the fseedams of others. However, when the action of one has such <br />serious repercussions to many others, careful consideration and judgment should <br />De used.
