-3-
• to, should allow them to produce additional direct testimony. However, again,
I think that their time for direct has passed under the procedure we set up
last month. So, that's a second issue the Board is going to have to address;
as to whether or not to allow additional direct testimony. Assuming, if you
do that, you allow the Committee For Environmental Soundness to present its
new witnesses, then the Company would like its chance to rebut the Staff's
presentation, to cross-examine the Committee For Environmental Soundness at
that time, and to continue the rebuttal cross-examination that they started
last month. After the Company goes forward with that, then the Committee For
Environmental Soundness will be given the opportunity to present rebuttal and
cross-examination. And then both of the parties, concluding that, both of the
parties request the opportunity to present a summation, with the Company going
first and the Committee For Environmental Soundness going second. Is that
fairly clear? Fairly muddled?
MR. JDUFLAS: Anybody have any questions for Mr. Johnson?
•
MR. ENTZ: Mr. Chairman?
MR. JDUFLAS: Yeah, Mike?
MR. ENTZ: I would also like to know if we could include in that somewhat
of a review by Staff of what transpired because I just got this toddy so I'm
not very familiar with what went on at that meeting and I would 'pike to be
educated a little bit more to that respect.
MR. JDUFLAS: Do you think you can handle that?
MR. BANTA: You want just an overview on what the mining anti reclamation
plan is? Is that what your're asking?
MR. ENTZ: Yes.
C,
J
