r ~J
J
Proiected Reclamation Schedules
The facility was constructed from Fall 1972 to 1979 resulting in a reported esti male of 55
acres of disturbance associated with the handling facilities, office, coal stockpiles,
railroad spur/loop, and access road Isee Permit Application for Permit No. C-80-003 at
Volume 1, Sec [i on 2.05 and Permit Decision Documents). Hayden Gulch Terminal, Inc. has
reevaluated the extent of disturbances associated with construction, and the possible need
io disturb additional acreage to accolrmiodate grading to approximate pre-disturbance
contours. The results of that evaluation are suimnarized in Table 17-1. The acres given
in Table 17-1 reflect actual topsoil and revege[ation liability acres within the proposed
permit boundary, and total affected lands.
The projected schedule for reclamation of the Hayden Gulch loadout is sunmarized in Table
17-2. If closures occurs in September of
• year 1, final reclamation may not be cox~le[ed until the end of year 2.
Certain facilities will be retained to compliment the final postmine land use. These
facilities include the right-of-ways for Routt County Road 37 and Colorado State Hiohway
40, and that portion of the access road extendi no to the County road maintenance yard.
Cessation of Operations
In the event a cessation of operations is to occur for a period of 30 days or more, or as
soon as it is known that a temporary cessation will extend beyond 30 days, the Division
will be notified.
