(iii) A description of measures to be taken by the <br />applicant for alteration or relocation of a natural drainaaewav under <br />4.03.1(4)(a)(i), 4.03.2(4)(a)(i), or 4.03.3(4)(d). <br />(iv) A description of measures, other than use of a rock <br />headwall, to be taken to protect the inlet end of a ditch relief culvert, <br />for approval by the Division under 4.03.1(4)(e)(vi)(E) or <br />4.03.2(4)(e)(v)(E). <br />(v) A description of measures to be used to ensure that the <br />interests of the public and landowners affected are protected if, under <br />2.07.6(2)(d)(iv), the applicant seeks to have the Division approve: <br />(A) Conducting the proposed surface mining activities <br />within 100 feet of the right-of-way line of any rublic road, except where <br />mine access or haul roads join that right-of-way; ur <br />~B) Relocating the public rorj. <br />C~ <br />RESPONSE: <br />Railroad Spur <br />Approximately 6 miles of railroad spur line connects the Fish Creek <br />Tipple with the east-west main line of the Denver and Rio Grande <br />Western Railroad Company (D&RGW). The fur was constructed in 1962 <br />1 <br />an~ and maintained by DbRGW Typical design specifications <br />for the railroad spur are depicted on Figure 5, Existing Railroad <br />Cross-Section. <br />A short siding parallel to the spur is used to route empty unit trains <br />onto for loading. The short siding associated with the loadout <br />facility will be dismantled and the site reclaimed in conjunction with <br />the Fish Creek Tipple.
