RESPONSE: <br />Neither surface nor underground coal mining are proposed in this <br />application. Consequently, the Rules addressing production methods and <br />mining equipment are not applicable. <br />The areal extent of disturbed areas and previously reclaimed tracts <br />are shown on Map 13, Fish Creek Tipple Reclamation. No additional <br />area of land is expected to be affected during the five (5) year <br />permit term requested herein, since the tipple facility and adjoining <br />haulroad are existing. <br />The longevity of the Fish Creek Tipple operation is dependent upon <br />future market conditions. Therefore, Twentymile Coal Company cannot <br />accurately predict the life of the operation. A description of all <br />operations proposed to be conducted for the duration of the operation <br />is provided under Rule 2.05.3(3). <br />• (2) Operation description. A general description and appropriate <br />map(s), prepared in accordance with 2.10, describing the area of land to be <br />affected over the life of the operation, according to the anticipated <br />sequence of mining and reclamation, and identifying each area of land for <br />which it is anticipated a new, separate, five-year permit will be obtained <br />and a performance bond will be posted throughout the operation and any <br />change in a facility or feature shown under 2.10 which would result from <br />the proposed operations. <br />Rule 2.05.3 - Operation Plan - Permit Area <br />Each application shall contain a detailed description of the specific <br />mining operations proposed to be conducted within the permit area.
