• (1) Production methods and equipment. A narrative description of the <br />specific type and method of coal mining procedures and proposed engineering <br />techniques, anticipated annual and total production of coal by tonnage, and <br />the major equipment to be used for all aspects of those operations. <br />(2) Operation Description <br />(a) Surface mining. A detailed narrative description and <br />appropriate map(s) prepared in accordance with 2.10, describing the land to <br />be affected within the permit area according to the proposed sequence of <br />mining and reclamation. Each narrative and/or map shall include a detailed <br />timetable sufficient to describe the various mining phases proposed b.y the <br />applicant. The maximum acreage proposed for each phase of the operations <br />within the permit area must be specified. <br />bl Underground mining. A detailed narrative and appropriate <br />map(s) prepared according to the standards of 2.10, sufficient to describe <br />• all proposed surface disturbances to be associated with the underground <br />mining activities within the permit area. Each operation plan shall <br />include a narrative, cross sections, map(s) and timetable(s) sufficient to <br />describe the areal extent of the proposed underground workings and the <br />stratum to be affected. <br />RESPONSE: <br />Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) does not plan to conduct surface or <br />underground coal mining operations within the proposed permit area. <br />Therefore, the requirements of this Section are not applicable. <br />Mine facilities <br />L) A narrative and maps, to meet the standards prescribed in <br />2.10, describing the location, construction, modification, use, maintenance <br />and removal of mine facilities in the permit area including all buildings, <br />• structures and utility corridors. <br />2.05-3 <br />
