2.05 - APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING ACTIVITIES <br />-- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION PLANS <br />Rule 2.05.1 - Objectives <br />The objectives of 2.05 are to ensure that the Division is provided <br />with comprehensive and reliable information on proposed surface coal mining <br />and reclamation operations, and to ensure that those operations are allowed <br />to be conducted only in compliance with these Rules and the Act. <br />Information presented in the application which addresses 2.05 shall be <br />referenced to the applicable environmental baseline information of 2.04 to <br />demonstrate that a proposed operation is being conducted consistent with <br />environmental resources information. <br />RESPONSE: <br />The Twentymile Coal Company will comply with the objectives of Rule <br />2.05.1. Information regarding the Fish Creek Tipple and connecting <br />• haulroad set forth below. <br />Rule 2.05.2 - Operation Plan-Estimated Area for Life of Operation <br />Each application shall contain a general description of all surface <br />coal mining operations proposed to be conducted during the life of the <br />operation. This general description shall include, at a minimum, the <br />following: <br />1) Production methods and equipment. A narrative description of the <br />general type and method of coal mining procedures, engineering techniques, <br />anticipated annual and total production of coal, by tonnage, and the major <br />equipment to be used for all aspects of those operations and a description <br />of the measures to be used to maximize the use and conservation of the coal <br />resource as required in 4.01.1. <br /> <br />2.05-1 <br />
