•
EXH18iT D - paragraph u
Com, Inc. will commit to reclamation of the tailing embankment ai
will include a 6" thick layer of mon-pyritic rock as a capillar!
barrier which is covered with a minimum of 4" of topsoil.
EXHIBIT D -paragraph 5 t'HU+r'~-av~~
Com, Inc. will continue ground water monitoring for one (1) yeas
after reclamation.
EXHIBIT D - paragraph 6
No edits or shafts have been or will be disturbed. Therefore, n~
reclamation cost estimates will be required.
EXHIBIT D - paragraph 7
In accordance with the best ecological practice, fertilizer i
all cases of high altitude restoration of disturbed lands shoul~
consist of indigenous ground litter carefully gathered from the
adjacent undisturbed areas.
The logic used pertaining to this practice consists mainly of the
interdependency and symbiotic, communalist or parasitic relation=_
between the flora and their mycological, bacteriological,
protozoal and viral living partners. These complex
interrelations are developed over an extended period of time and
are very specific to each area studied. Using fertilizer in the
conventional sense, as well as hauling in nonindigenous topsoil
is great it one intends to cultivate various fruits, vegetables
or cash type crops but can only have a negative and even
disastrous affect on ones attempt to develop a once again self
perpetuating eco system.
The cost of targeting, gathering and intermixing these indigenou
"fertilizer" is included in the cost estimates given for th
first paragraph of Exhibit D Adequacy Review Response.
