6.3.2 EXHIBIT B -Site Description <br />(2) Please provide soils information that is adequate to determine the amount of <br />topsoil available for salvage and replacement during reclamation. This <br />information is available from the local NRCS office or can be extracted from <br />a soils survey of the azea where the proposed site is located. <br />(3) The application states there aze no man-made structures within 200 feet of the <br />affected area, however, there appears to be a house or some sort of structure <br />just west of the affected azea. Please identify these structures. <br />6.3.3 EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan <br />(4) Please provide a seed mix for use on topsoil stockpiles that will not be <br />replaced immediately. Also, once sufficient information is submitted to <br />determine the estimated depth of topsoil available for reclamation, that depth <br />will need to be included under this section. <br />(5) Please clarify in writing and on the map the dimension and extent of the <br />proposed excavation and the location of any overburden or product stockpiles. <br />6.3.4 EXHIBIT D -Reclamation Plan <br />(6) How much topsoil will be salvaged and replaced (see #2)? <br />63.5 EXHIBIT E -Map <br />(7) There aze numerous maps included with the application. All maps, with the <br />exception of the index map, must conform to the following criteria: <br />-Show the name of the applicant <br />-be prepared and signed by a qualified person <br />-give date prepared <br />-identify and outline azea which corresponds with the application <br />-prepazed at a scale that is appropriate to cleazly show all elements that aze <br />required .The acceptable range of map scales shall be no lazger than 1 inch=50 <br />feet nor smaller than linch= 600 feet. Also, that a map scale, appropriate <br />legend, map title, date and a north arrow shall be included. <br />The various maps included typically show one or more but not all of the <br />required elements. The application should include the following labeled maps. <br />Index map, Mine Plan Map, and Reclamation Plan Map. Following is a list of <br />inadequacies for the application maps. <br />2 <br />
