WILDLIFE STATEMENT.
• EXHIBIT H
The mining activities at this mine will, at any one time,
disrupt a small area within the entire permitted area. This site
is large enough to allow larger mobile species of wildlife to use
areas other than those where active mining is taking place. The
permit area is primarily a pinon-oak community with an understory
of grasses. We may displace some burrowing rodents as mining
progresses but overall the impact to wildlife using the site will
be minimal. The list below shows the probable occurrence and
species using the site. We will look forward to working with the
Division of Wildlife as they review our final plans.
SPECIES OCCURRENCE PERIOD ON SITE
Birds
Red Tail Hawk Common Year around
Mourning Dove Common Year around
Black Billed Magpie Common Year around
Western Bluebird Common Year around
Misc.
