profit recreation and occupying a site not less than twenty (20) <br />acres of land, A Country Club or Resort Lodge shall not conduct <br />activities organized primarily to render a service, which is <br />customarily carried on as a business. A Country Club or Resort <br />Lodge serves as a destination point for visitors, and generally has <br />accessory recreational facilities for the use of guests. <br />1.7.21 Countyshall mean Gilpin County, State of Colorado. <br />1.7.22 Covered Parkinq shall mean a permanent carport or <br />garage, which provides full overhead protection from the elements <br />with ordinary roof coverings. Canvas, plastic, lath and vegetation <br />are not ordinary roof coverings. <br />1.7.23 Custom Home shall mean a detached single-family <br />dwelling, which is individually designed and constructed to fit the <br />unique requirements of both the site and the intended owner. <br />1.7- "D„ <br />1.7.1 Day Care faci/ity shall mean an establishment where care or <br />supervision is provided on a less than twenty-four (24) hour per <br />day basis, including but not limited to care or supervision provided <br />to children and elderly. The Day Care Facility shall be licensed <br />according to applicable State laws. <br />1.7.2 Decision shall mean a action which requires the exercise of <br />judgment, deliberation, or action on the part of the decision- <br />making authority in the process of approving or disapproving a <br />particular activity, as distinguished from situations where the <br />decision-making authority merely has to determine whether there <br />has been conformity with applicable statues, ordinances, or <br />regulations. <br />Gilpin County Zoning Regulations 16 <br />
