A copy of this application is <br />being forwarded to the Colorado Division of Wildlife for their <br />review. Their comments will be forwarded upon receipt. <br />Water Resources- <br />This operation is not expected to directly affect either <br />surface or groundwater in the area. Groundwater is not encountered <br />until at least 110 feet below the surface. There are no streams or <br />creeks through this pit. <br />Vegetation- <br />The current pit site, which was used as a gravel pit in past <br />years, has no vegetation. The surrounding land is pasture ground <br />which has primarily native grasses. <br />
