We will provide the wetlands inventory, the specific plans that are being <br />submitted for the 404 permit to mitigate wetlands removal with replacement <br />wetlands, and provide a cost estimate for the replacement. The proposed wetlands <br />replacement vegetation will be included as part of Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan. <br />13. We will provide a weed control plan that will be followed during mining and <br />reclamation ,and include a summary of this plan in Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan. <br />14. We will provide an inventory of lubricants and oil products to be used or stored <br />on site, and summarize the measures to be implemented to minimize potential <br />impacts to surface and/or groundwater from future leaks or spills of these <br />materials. This will include a commitment to prepaze and develop a SPCC Pian <br />to address management of possible leaks or spills, including any leaks or spill from <br />on-site fueling of equipment if on-site fueling is undertaken. The inventory and <br />a summary of the SPCC Plan will be incorporated in Exhibit G -Water <br />Information. <br />15. Tuttle Applegate will submit a brief statement or plan showing how water from <br />dewatering operations or from runoff from disturbed, piled material, and <br />operating surfaces will be managed to protect against pollution of either surface <br />or groundwater (and, where applicable, control pollution in a manner that is <br />consistent with water quality discharge permits), both during and after the <br />operation. A summary of this statement or plan will be incorporated in Exhibit <br />G -Water Information. In addition, per item 5 (13) on page 2 of this fax, the <br />statement that a Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) is being prepared and <br />a SWMP Permit for Storm Water Discharges for a Sand and Gravel Operation <br />will be obtained from CDPHE, and a copy of the application for this Permit and <br />the SWMP for this Permit will be submitted to DMG prior to initiating any <br />operation will be incorporated in Exhibit D -Mining Plan. <br />16. Tuttle Applegate will provide an estimate of the water requiremenu including flow <br />rates and annual volumes for the development, mining and reclamation phases of <br />the project, and these will be incorporated in Exhibit G -Water Information. <br />17. An application(s) for an NPDES permit will be submitted shortly, and a <br />statement to this affect will be included in Exhibit G -Water Information. <br />18. The required statement that CAMAS will comply with all permitting OSE <br />requirements prior to the exposure of groundwater will be included, and this <br />statement will'be included in Exhibit G -Water Information. <br />5 <br />
