e. All disturbed areas will be claimed in a manner that <br />will minimize detrimental effects on the quality or•quantity of <br />both the surface and ground water systems. <br />f. After establishing the present land use through <br />consultation with BLM, all reclamation will be directed toward <br />that goal (in all probability, wildlife, recreation, mineral <br />development). <br />4. Seed list <br />Thirty pound per acre of pure live seed will be broadcast, <br />with distribution as follows: <br />Indian rice grass 5 lbs <br />Mountain brome 5 lbs <br />Milk vetch 5 lbs <br />Thurber's fescue 5 lbs <br />Western wheat 5 lbs <br />Kentucky bluegrass 5 lbs <br />One hundred seedlings per acre of oak brush and <br />serviceberry will be planted the year following the grasses. <br />6. Proposed timetable <br />a. After permit approval, construction will begin by <br />removal of all vegetation (large woody species will be cut and <br />stacked and all other will be hauled to the nearest land fill). <br />Then "A" horizon (topsoil) will be removed and where possible "B" <br />horizon materials. These soil horizons will. be stockpiled <br />separately and protected by approved methods against wind and <br />water erosion. Permanent signs will be placed on the piles <br />designating the correct horizon. <br />b. As stated in Section 1, reclamation will be <br />accomplished in three phases. <br />-5- <br />
