(1) After construction, areas not in use or <br />inadvertently disturbed during construction will be graded, <br />bermed, ditched, etc. In the fall, the seed mixture will be <br />broadcast along with fertilizer and covered with mulch. <br />(2) During operations, when a disturbed area is <br />no longer required, it will be graded to the approximate original <br />contour, "B" horizon material (if available) distributed over the <br />area first and then the "A" horizon material. Finally, seed, <br />fertilizer and mulch will be applied. <br />(3) Upon completion of mining, all structures will <br />be removed including any concrete foundations, etc. All of the <br />coarse materials (concrete, large rocks, etc.) will be placed <br />against the high wall in a manner that will achieve approximate <br />original coutour. Then the "B" and "A" horizon material will be <br />placed on top. Reclamation will procede as in (1) and (2) with <br />the exception that shrub and tree seedlings will be added to the <br />revegetation. <br />7. Description <br />a. Final grading <br />The crusher, screen's, product storage area, <br />topsoil and fines area will be returned to AOC. The quarry <br />will be backfilled with rubble then fines (approximate slope <br />5 to 1) . <br />b. Seeding (See e.) <br />c. Fertilization <br />Soil test will be taken of topsoil, "B" horizon <br />and fines to determine appropriate fertilizers to be added <br />during reclamation. <br />-6 - <br />
