_' •
Bad Boys of Cripple Creek Mining Company, Inc.
" Limited Impact 110 Operations Permit Application
6.3.3 EXHIBIT C -MINING PLAN (Continued)
(h) There will be no water used in this operation.
(i) Little or no groundwater will be encountered in this operation. Recent
mining activities on Mineral Hill have not encountered mine water. and the
historic records do not indicate that water was a problem.
(j) Water rights are not an issue for this operation
(k) The Cripple Creek and Victor has not produced acid mine drainage from
any of the several major drainage tunnels that were constructed in the
district. The Moffat, the Carlton, and the Roosevelt. The historic mine dumps,
many 100 years old, located all over the district have also been demonstrated
to be of a non-toxic nature.
(1) Any potential disturbance to the hydrologic balance, will be minimized by
good operating practice such as preventing oil or fuel spillage, none will be
stored on site. Off site damage would be eliminated by preserving the pit
backslope. The only other activities off site are: moving the excavator to the
site, transportation by pickup or car to the site, cleaning the raw material,
sorting and polishing in a shop. The total amount of waste material
generated would be less than 50 pounds per batch in the form of a sand.
Which could be returned to the pit.
(m) Other than cleaning and sorting no processing is part of the operation.
There are no chemicals used in any part of the process.
(2) There are no tailings ponds or a milling process.
Page 11(a)
