• percent of the herbaceous production standard with 90 percent statistical confidence. The following
weighted formula will be used to evaluate revegetation success fox herbaceous production:
(S$a) (xS~ + tea) (xMB) + (Aa) (xA)
x~V > .90
Ta
with 90 percent statistical confidence
where:
xgBV =Average herbaceous production far tevegetated azea
SBa =Sagebrush type acreage, prP+r+n+sg surface azea
MBa =Mixed brush type acreage, prP*s+s+ng surface azea
Aa =Aspen type acreage, premising surface azea
xsB =Average reference azea herbaceous production - sagebmsh type
xhq$ =Average reference area herbaceous production -mired brush type
xA =Average reference azea herbaceous production -aspen type
Ta =Total of relative community type acreages, prPm;.+isg surface azea.
• Revegetation success for production, in the reclaimed mesic drainage type, will be evaluated by
comparing a weighted mean herbaceous production value determined from undisturbed portions of
the mesic drainage and improved pasture-subirrigated premise types. The areas previously occupied
by this latter type will be reclaimed to a mesic drainage type. The method of weighting and
comparison is similaz to that described under covet for the mesic drainage type. Herbaceous
production from the mesic drainage reclaumed areas will be compared ro the weighted mean value.
Reclamation success for herbaceous production shall be met when the value of the reclaimed azea is at
least 90 percent of the comparison standard with 90 percent statistical confidence. The following
weighting formula will be used.
xREV > .90 (~a)(xMD) + ~Sa)(xIPS)
Ta
• with 90 percent statistical confidence
where:
PR-02 39 Revised 01/06
