The production success standard for all pem~attendy reclaimed areas in the haul road corridor will be
based on a weighted mean herbaceous production value. This value will be determined from
historical production records from undisturbed portions of the study azea along the haul road
corridor. The four premise vegetation types described under the cover success standard for the haul
road coaidor will be used to develop the success standard. CRP lands will be seeded to permanent
vegetation unless the landowner requests that they be returned to cropland. Reclamation success for
all permanently reclahned azeas shall be met when the value of the reclaimed azea is at least 90 percent
of the comparison standazd with 90 percent statistical confidence. The following weighting fonnula
will be used:
