RESPONSE:
At the present time, Peerless Resources, Inc. plans to remove all
facilities and structures following the completion of mining. If it is
determined prior to final reclamation activities that these structures
may serve some future beneficial use, then Peerless Resources, Inc. will
work with the Division to revise or amend the reclamation plan. In
addition, the proper documentation from the landowner will be provided
to the Division at that time.
5. These two (2)
locations are designated on the Mine Facilities Map (Map 12).
Information gathered in accordance with the questions on section 2.04.9
indicates that this soil material will provide a good plant growth
medium. Likewise, Peerless Resources, Inc, estimates that approximately
10,000 to 15,000 cubic yards of this material is available for use in
reclamation activities. Therefore, there should be sufficient plant
growth material to place 6 to 12 inches of this material over the area
affected by the surface facilities of the planned Coal Gulch Mine.
6. The applicant should commit to mulching and crimping the mulch at a
• rate of 2 tons per acre on a rec aime surfaces at the mine area.
-50-
