• significantly different groundwater quality will be cased or cemented. <br />At this time, no artesian conditions or aquifer conditions have been <br />encountered or are expected to be encountered <br />Those holes which will remain open for use as a water supply well or for <br />use as a groundwater monitoring well will be completed with casing or <br />piezometers at a sufficient height above the land surface to prevent <br />drainage of surface water or entrance of other material into the well. <br />In addition, they will be fitted with caps to prevent introduction of <br />foreign objects, other than monitoring and sampling equipment, into the <br />well. When groundwater monitoring wells or water supply wells are no <br />longer needed or required for any purpose, each well will be sealed in <br />accordance with the measures described above. <br />Where necessary, after exploration activities, Sunbelt will submit a <br />report detailing the required information of this Section to the <br />Division within 60 days after abandoning the drill hole or specifically <br />• approved drilling program. <br />4.07.4 Abandonment in Designated Groundwater Basins <br />This Sub-section is not applicable to the mining plan of Sunbelt. <br /> <br />4.07-3 <br />
