Pit-inflow induced impact to surface-water rights will be <br />prevented by providing a replacement supply from the <br />surface-water distribution system. .These rights <br />obtain water from springs and seeps which are not <br />completely supplied by surface-return flows. <br />3. Neither PCC's out-of~priority surface-water use <br />nor pit inflows have been determined to cause any <br />impact to the twenty-nine wells (Figure 2, Table e) <br />within two miles of the NDCIA and NUCLA EAST mining <br />areas. The screened interval and pump intakes of <br />these wells are too deep to be affected by mining. <br />The two shallowest wells closest to the pit will be <br />monitored, however, if permission is obtained from <br />the well owners. <br />• <br />Implementation of.the augmentation plan requires <br />approval by the District Court of the following applications: <br />1.
