Access to the site will be from Townsend Road. <br />14. Townsend Road from the access road to G Road to Silver Sheet to Highway 348 shall be <br />the designated haul route for the Reynolds Gravel Pit operation when hauling material to <br />the easfi Townsend Road to G Road bD G50 Rcad m Highway 50 shall be the designated <br />haul route for hauling material to the west and north. Townsend Road from the access <br />road to G Road shall be improved by the Applicant to the designation assigned by the <br />Delta Couniy Engineer as stipulated in the Delta County Roadway Design and <br />Construction Standards and maintained at that standard for the life of the operation. <br />Should Townsend Road be improved to a higher designation by Delta County, the <br />Applicant shall maintain that section of Townsend Road used as the haul route to the <br />higher standard. The applicant understands that the Board of Delta County <br />Commissioners may eider the designated haul routes 'rf warranted by future traffic studies. <br />Traffic Safetv <br />15. The access interserxion shall meet the Delta County access regulations. <br />16. The pit operator shall inform ail drivers of tratTic regulations on Townsend anii G Roads. <br />Any violation of traffic regulations shall be puss for the Board of County Commissioners <br />to revoke this agreement and cease operations of the gravel pit <br />17. The pit operator shall inform all drivers of the designated haul route, no deviation from this <br />designated route shall be permitted. <br />Dust Suppression <br />18. Dust suppression shall be maintained on alt internal haul roads, and in the mining, <br />stockpile, cxushing and process areas at all times. If as a result of the Applicant's failure <br />to control fugitive dust, said dust is determined to have an adverse impact upon the <br />surrounding properly owners, residences, livestock or crops, Applicant could be <br />determined to have created a public nuisance. <br />19. The Applicant and any successor gravel mining and processing operator shall maintain all <br />roads within the mining property in conformance with the Cokuado AU Quality Control <br />Commission Regulation No. 1, as it applies to the regulation of fugitive particulate <br />emissions and the measurement of opacty and off-property transport of fugitive <br />particulate emissions. <br />20. The Applicant or successor gravel mining operator shall operate screening, crushing, <br />digging equipment, or similar equipment in conformance with the Colorado Air Quality <br />Control Commission Regulation No. 1, as rt applies to the regulation of fugitive particulate <br />emissions and the measurement of opacly and off-property transport of fugitive <br />particulate emissions. <br />21. Dust control shall be in confomiarrce with the control plan approved by the State of <br />Colorado (Air Quality Control Commission), a copy of which shay! be sent to the County. <br />In addition, the Applicant shall: <br />(a) Limit the volume of material moved. <br />(b) Use misters on the crusher. <br />(c) Use sprayed water (and such other substances as are feasible <br />and effective) in areas of operation. <br />
