All man made structures will be addressed in the DIVISION OF <br />RECLAMATION, MINING AND SAFETY MLRB Permit. Please see the <br />attached exhibits for details. A portion of the High Line Canal runs <br />through the mining area and will have a 75-foot "no mining buffer" on <br />each side of its centerline. A copy of "Mineral rules and Regulations of <br />the Colorado Mined land ReGamation Board for Extraction of <br />Construction Materials," Amended May 2004 can be found at the <br />DIVISION OF RECLAMATION, MINING AND SAFETY website. <br />16.) +/- 92.7 acres are proposed for this 112c Permit for an open pit mining <br />operation for sand & gravel also known as construction aggregates. <br />17.) Affected acres may be a total of +/-g2.7 acres, however mining and <br />reclamation will be carried out in phases no larger than 28 Acres. Please <br />see attached mining map. <br />18.) Proposed hours of operation are from Sunrise to Sunset Monday- <br />Saturday every week, year round. <br />19.) Estimated life of operation is difficult to forecast, however we believe this <br />mine will have an economic Life of 20 to 40 years depending on the local <br />market conditions. <br />20.) Main shift employees will be between 3 to 10 people depending upon <br />the time of the year and the number of orders that are to be filled. <br />21.) The proposed haul route would be out of the mine site to Nepesta Road, <br />then to US Highway 50. A map of haul route will be provided. <br />22.) The number of vehicle trips per day would be on average of 60-70. <br />23.) Hours of hauling would depend upon tfie time of the year, fiowever it <br />would normally start around 6:00 A.M. and run to approximately 6:00 P.M. <br />during operation. <br />24.) Dust control will be accomplished with water trucks on the haul road and <br />the processing plant site. <br />25.) Proof of Water: <br />a. Bottled water will be brought in for drinking water <br />b. Water for the use of dust control will be arranged for buy purchasing <br />water form the city of Fowler or by some other means. The economic <br />advantages have not been determined so a decision has not been <br />made. <br />26.) Port-a-let will be brought on site. A letter of commitment for Port-a-let <br />service was received from U.S. Waste Industries, Inc. <br />
