The 112c Permit will be used for: mining and reclamation of sand and <br />gravel (construction aggregates), crushing, screening, stockpiling, scale <br />house, and office. We also request that a concrete batch plant and hot mix <br />(road/asphalt) plant be included under this 112c Permit. All of these <br />operations are suitable within the size of the site. <br />8.) Pit name is. Pheasant Run Pit <br />9.) Mine type is open pit and the substance to be mined is sand & gravel also <br />known as construction aggregates. <br />10.) Site is located approximately 0.2 miles southwest of Nepesta Bridge, on <br />U.S Highway 50, east of the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and 64'' Lane. <br />It is approximately 25 miles east of the City of Pueblo. <br />11.) The legal description is lengthy and is in the 112c application exhibits <br />information package general location is a parcel of land in Section 32, <br />Township 21 South, Range 60 West, 6'' PM, County of Pueblo, State of <br />Colorado. <br />12.) Gurrent Zoning is A-1 Agricultural <br />13.) Surrounding Zoning is A-1 Agricultural. <br />14.) Post mine use will be RangelandlAgricultural. <br />15.) There are man made structures on this section of land. As defined by <br />"Mineral rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board for Extraction of Construction Materials,° Amended May 2004, under <br />Page 11 within Construction Materials Rule 1: witch states that, "Structure. <br />Significant. Valuable and Permanent Man-made means anon-portable <br />improvement to real property which has defined, current and recognizable <br />value of an economic nature; generally including but not limited to: <br />buildings, houses, barns, fences, above or below ground utilities, irrigation <br />ditches, maintained or public road, railroad tracks, cemeteries, <br />communication antennas, pipelines, water wells, water storage structures, <br />discharge and conveyance structures, etc." <br />
