<br />3.02.1(5~(bl Bond Requirements. (continued) <br />The Phase 2 operation will start at the completion of the first Phase. An additional 6.58 <br />acres will be disturbed. <br />Site preparation and revegetation 6.58 acres @ $ 750.00 ac = $ 4,935.00. <br />Added cost hydromulching 3.67 acres @ $ 200.00 acre = $ 734.00 <br />Added cost transferring worse case scenario to Phase 2 pit as Phase 1 already restored as <br />part of mining operation - $ 9,777.00 <br />Add on Bond requirement for Phase 2: $ 21,061.00 <br />Total Bond required for Phase 1 & 2: $ 61,730.00 <br />The timetable for completion of the project after approval of the mine plan by the division, <br />and the County Commissioner of Las Animas County is approximately 4 weeks to build the <br />first coal stockpile, sediment pond, and other facilities. The 5rst Phase of mining will <br />commence shortly thereafter and last from 1-1R to 2-12 years depending on the rate of <br />• mining. At the completion of the first Phase reclamation and re-seeding will be completed <br />within 6 months. Phase 2 will proceed in the same time frame as Phase 1, and at its <br />completion all reclamation and re-seeding will be completed within 6 months of the <br />cessation of mining. <br />The Mined Land Reclamation Division has overruled the applicants Bonding estirnate set <br />forth in this section and has established a Bond rate of sully-two thousand dollars <br />($ 62,000.00) for the project which is acceptable. The calculations for setting this amount <br />are shown in Exhibit SS. <br />-2- <br />
