•C
well GP-3. The static pressure head was measured before discharge was initiated.
Flow from well GP-3 was monitored for approximately 105 minutes until the discharge
test was ended. Table A-33 presents the data collected during the flow test on well
GP-3.
Constant head flow data for well GP-3 is presented in Figure A-39. A straight
line fit of the data plotted on Figure A-39 yields a transmissivity value of
approximately 80 gal/day/ft for the HI aquifer near well GP-3.
A multi-well drawdown test and recovery test was performed on well GP-3 and
•~ ,
GP-3A on September 23, 1985. Table A-34 presents the drawdown and recovery data
collected from well GP-3. Water level was monitored throughout the test while a
discharge rate of 8.1 gpm was maintained. The recovery of the water level in well
GP-3 was monitored after pumping to determine a transmissivity value from the
recovery data.
Figure A-40 presents the drawdown data for well GP-3 on a semi-log plot. A
good straight line fit of the data gives a transmissivity value of 150 gal/day/ft
using Jacob's method. Figure A-40 also yields a permeability value of 0.37 ft/day
for the HI aquifer using the drawdown data.
The plot of the recovery data for well GP-3 is presented in Figure A•-41, A
•`.
transmissivity value of 160 gal/day/ft can be obtained from the straight line fit of
the data using the Theis recovery method. Permeability was calculated to be 0.40
ft/day using this method.
A-18 REVISED FEB 13'87
