road does not conform to all of the current specifications mandated by the <br />• Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. <br />However, the access road will be maintained and repaired in accordance with <br />the requirements of Rule 4.03. <br />• <br />Relocation of Public Road <br />On January 7, 1985 the Routt County Board of County Commissioners approved <br />the relocation of a portion of Routt County Road #179. The relocated <br />portion of the county road is that portion of the Twentymile Coal Company <br />haul road between County Road 179 on the north and County Road #33 on the <br />south. The road is shown on Map 5a, Surface and Coal Ownership. The <br />approved resolution may be found in Exhibit 25 Relocation of Public Road. <br />County Road No. 179 is planned to be closed during the reclamation <br />activities associated with the backfilling and grading operations of the <br />Middle Creek final cut/portal area. During the initial discussions with <br />Routt County officials to temporarily close County Road No. 179, the County <br />officials requested permanent relocation of County Road No. 170. <br />That portion of the Fish Creek Tipple haul road south of County Road No. 179 <br />and north of County Road No. 33 as shown on Map 5 Surface and Coal <br />Ownership, is planned to be utilized as a relocated portion of County Road <br />No. 179, following activities to approve such relocation with the County and <br />these Rules and Regulations. <br />The following measures have been undertaken to ensure that the interests of <br />the public and landowners affected are protected by the planned relocation <br />of the above-addressed portion of Routt County Road No. 179: <br />A.
