• Maintenance <br />The Colorado Yampa Coal Company has a continuous road maintenance <br />program that consists of blading the surface, dressing the shoulders, <br />cleaning the ditches, watering for duet control and repairing the <br />drainage and erosion control devices as needed. This maintenance <br />program will protect both the road and adjacent areas. <br />Reclamation <br />After the haulroad is no longer needed for mining, reclamation, <br />or monitoring, it will be reclaimed in accordance with Rule 4.03.1(7). <br />• Natural drainage patterns will be restored with all culverts removed. <br /> The road bed will be rounded and shaped to conform with the <br /> surrounding topography. She haulroad corridor will be topaoiled and <br />revegetated to meet the requirements of Bule 4.15. <br />Access Road <br />The haulroad will provide access to the surface mining operation. <br />Since the design specifications for the haulroad were prepared in <br />accordance with requirements of Bule 4.03.1, the less stringent <br />performance standards stipulated under Rule 4.03.2 are satisfied. <br />The access road located in the NWT, MS'z Section 13, TSN, R86W was <br />• designed and constructed prior to the enactment of the Surface Mining <br />Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (P .L. 95-87).
