EXI-IIBIT H - WILDLIFE <br />JD-9 <br />A. According to information supplied by the Colorado <br />Division of ~~lildlife, the following list describes <br />species that inhabit the area of JD-9: mule deer, <br />elk, coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, cottontail <br />rabbits, jackrabbits, prarie dogs, and other species <br />of small mammals and birds. Bald and golden eagles <br />may frequent the area. <br />B. Seasonal use of the area is limited to deer and elk <br />winter range. <br />C. No threatened or endangered species will be impacted <br />in the area. <br />D. The Division of Wildlife has assessed the impact of <br />the JD-9 mine on the wildlife around it to be minor, <br />mainly from road construction, human activity and <br />noise. (The impact assessed as "moderate" concerns <br />• areas of exploration drilling, covered by the pro- <br />specting notice.) <br /> <br />
