DRILLING SCHEDULE MCC will proceed with road construction and drilling activities upon approval of this AOP and in accordance with the Conditions of Approval as referenced in the Forest Service Decision Notice dated May 31, 2002, titled Coal Methane Drainage Project Panels 16-24 Mountain Coal Company West Elk Mine. Completion and approval of the Annual Bird Survey is anticipated by June 11. A schedule of drilling is presented based on that date. Drilling is presumed to require 8 days per hole including mobilization from site to site, setup, drilling, and rig down. Note: The schedule below is based on using two drilling rigs; this schedule is subject to rig availability and/or MCC operating constraints. MCC intends to utilize two drill rigs to complete this aggressive schedule. WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM MCC will install and maintain a water supply system to provide water to the drill sites and for dust suppression. This system will minimize, to a large degree, the need for water skidders and water trucks to travel the temporary roads. The water supply system will include, but is not limited to, flexible hosing, rigid piping, water pumps, and storage tanks.
