(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Na, b, and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of April 7a' <br />through Apri120~', 2002. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures <br />ranged from 19° F to 43° F, and highs ranged from 40° F to 70° F. Snow was recorded on April 16~', <br />2002. Weather observations were made on twelve days of this fourteen-day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase [Va, <br />b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa, b, and c construction activities on twelve days of <br />this fourteen-day reporting period (April 8`s through April 13`s and April 15`s through Apri120'~'). <br />Phase IVa <br />Ames placed Stmctural Fill (SF) in the Phase Na area along the northern end of the old ADR road, in <br />Arequa Gulch, and at the 9640 road at station 8+00. Structural Fill materials were placed in horizontal <br />lifts typically not exceeding 2 feet in loose thickness. A Caterpillaz CS563C roller provided compactive <br />effort, while a Caterpillar water wagon provided moisture conditioning when needed.
