(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase fVa, b, and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of March 10"' through March 23ro, 2002. The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 8° F to 33° F, and highs ranged from 27° F to 63° F. Snow was recorded on March 15~'. 18a', and 19~', 2002. Weather observations were made on ten days of this fourteen-day reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa, b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa, b, and c construction activities on ten days of this fourteen-day reporting period (Mazch 11 ~' through March 15`h and Mazch 18`x' through Mazch 22nd) Phase IVa Ames placed Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase IVa area at station 5+00 of the 9640 road. Structural Fill materials were placed in horizontal lifts typically not exceeding 2 feet in loose thickness. A Caterpillar CS563C roller provided compactive effort, while a Caterpillar water wagon provided moisture conditioning when needed. Ames resumed construction of the 84-inch CSP by placing formwork for the headwall. Ames began construction of the Phase Na Primary Underdrain (PU) beginning at the southern end (neaz the ADR) and working to the North. Ames excavated trench and placed geotextile, Underdrain Fill (iJF), and Select Structural Fill (SSF) for approximately 300 feet of PU.
