(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Na, b, and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of February 24`x' through Mazch 9d', 2002. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from -12° F to 27° F, and highs ranged from 10° F to 50° F. Snow was recorded on February 25d', 26d', March 15`, and 8d', 2002. Weather observations were made on ten days of this fourteen-day reporting period. Construction Svnopsis Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa, b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase Na, b, and c construction activities on nine days of this fourteen-day reporting period (February 25d' through February 28a' and Mazch 4d' through March 8d'). Phase IVa Ames placed Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase Na azea at stations 26+00 through 28+00 of the Perimeter Access Road and above station 6+00 of the 9640 road. Ames conducted slope recontouring in the Phase Na area at the 84-inch headwall and along the diversion channel Structural Fill materials were placed in horizontal lifts typically not exceeding 2 feet in loose thickness. A Caterpillaz CS563C roller provided compactive effort, while a Caterpillaz water wagon provided moisture conditioning when needed or required.
