(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Na, b, and c Construction Quality Assurance ~CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of January 13th through January 26 , 2002. The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures . ranged from 0° F to 22° F, and highs ranged from 22° F to 45° F. Snow was recorded on January 17s' and 23'x, 2002. Weather observations were made on eleven days of this fourteen-day reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa, b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa, b, and c construction activities on eleven days of this fourteen-day reporting period (January 14th through January 19th, and January 2155 through January 25`h). Phase Na Ames did not place Structural Fill (SF) in the phase Na area, but continued to conduct slope recontouring at the 9640 access road from station 10+00 through 12+00. Excavated material was hauled to Phase IVb. Ames continued to excavate for the construction of 84-inch CSP between stations 47+00 and 49+00. Ames continued placement of 84-inch CSP and Pipe Bedding Fill (PBF). Ames placed approximately 200 feet of 84-inch CSP and bedded the pipe with PBF and SF in accordance with the standazd detail shown on IFC Drawing 15, detail 8. Ames constructed the thrust block at station 48+87 by placing concrete in accordance with IFC Drawing I5, detail 4.
