<br />RECLAMATION SEED MIX'1VRE (Continued) <br />Shrub Svecie <br />Drilled Rate <br />Pounds PLS/Ac. <br />Rubber Rabbitbrush <br />Cultural Practices <br />0.5 <br />- Seeding will occur during the fall (November) or early spring <br />(March) in order to take advantage of available soil moisture <br />conditions during the spring. The seedbed should be firm and <br />the seed planted at a depth of about 0.5 inch. <br />- Following seeding, grass hay mulch will be applied at a rate <br />of approximately 2 tons/acre, and mechanically crimped using a <br />cri~ing machine to anchor the mulch against blowing. <br />- Fertilizer will be applied at at rate of 40 lbs. each <br />available N-P-K. As recomrended by the Montrose office of the <br />SCS, fertilizer will be applied following the first growing <br />season. <br />Access Road <br />The access road is pre-existing and will remain upon completion of the <br />operation for use by landowners and the West Montrose Sanitation District. <br />Stream Crossing <br />If a brige is installed, it will remain upon completion of the <br />operation for use by the landowners. If a conveyor is erected and used to <br />transport material across the river, it will be removed as part of the <br />reclamation plan. <br />-10- <br />
