' 6.2 Water <br />a. Hydrology and Water Quality - The mining operation will be <br />' in compliance with applicable water laws and regulations <br />governing injury to existing water rights. The mining and <br />reclamation operations will not require the use of any water, <br />nor will the maintenance of the proposed conservation/wild- <br />life habitat. The operation will a]so be in compliance with <br />applicable federal and state water quality laws and regulations. <br />Although there are no plans to de-water the pit and discharge <br />to "state waters", an NPDES permit will be obtained and suffi- <br />cient treatment of the discharge water will be performed to <br />' meet permit limitations (see 4later Management Plan). <br />' The operation will be in compliance with Section 404 dredge <br />and fill regulations in that there will be no discharges of <br />' dredged or fill material into the Cache la Pourde River. <br />There will not be any temporary or large siltation structures <br />constructed. <br />I ' 6.
