Some impact to aquatic wildlife coulIId occur in <br />the event of a washout of a tailing pond which cou1W be detri- <br />mental to fish, fish habitat, vegetation, and aquatic fife. <br />The operator is aware of the impact and will make every <br />reasonable effort to ensure that all water impoundments are <br />constructed and maintained as to be safe and stable structures. <br />Also all waters that are discharged will have theirl,suspended <br />solids reduced to legal and compatible limits so as toreduce any <br />adverse effects to the hydrological balance. <br />The proposed tailing ponds are at least 1,500 feet from <br />• Pennsylvania Creek. <br />Upon the completion of the project the area wild be freed <br />from the presence of machinery, its accompanyinglnoise and <br />disturbance to wildlife habitat. This elimination c upled with <br />the revegetation of previously disturbed ground of Pha e I and II <br />will restore the project area to become full-tim~ wildlife <br />habitat. <br />• 19 <br />
